Conjoined twins Violet and Daisy Hilton could have been separated through a low-risk surgery, as they didn't share any vital organs, but they were content to remain together throughout their entire lives.
Born in 1908, the twins soared to fame by performing in circus acts, dancing and playing instruments, and appearing in movies, including the 1932 cult-classic "Freaks." However, as their entertainment career dwindled, they spent their final years working at a grocery store in North Carolina and performing for their coworkers in the break room. It was the closest thing to a "normal life" they'd ever enjoy.
