How Ryan Haase Tried to Destroy Lindsey Arp's Beauty and Life With Boiling Oil

Lindsey Arp from Lewisburg, Tennessee, met Ryan Haase at work in 2006. Lindsey turned Ryan down a couple of times but agreed to go out with him after he became very persistent.
They soon started dating and moved in together in 2007. Initially, the relationship seemed promising, but after Lindsey gave birth to their daughters in 2009, and 2010, things took a turn for the worse; he felt like he owned her. He became extremely controlling and monitored her every move.

By March 2011, she was fed up and told Ryan to move out of the house. In early April 10, 2012, at around 2. am, Ryan entered her bedroom and threw a container of boiling oil on her. She sustained deep third-degree burns on 45 percent of her body and lost her right eye and ear.
It took 38 different surgeries and 148 days in the hospital for Lindsey to recover.
In July 2012, Ryan Haase was found guilty of attempted first-degree mur*der and sentenced to 40 years in prison.
