Peering into the Secret World of Covert Narcissists: 7 Strange Behaviors Revealed
1. They very rarely address you by your name. They will use a nickname, maybe funny or endearing but somehow demeaning.
2. Covert Narcissist have health complaints, yet they don't take care of it; or they will not listen to suggestions that may help. They act like they have to put up with their ailments. They are stronger than others. Nothing works for them, yet they don't try.
3. They mimic facial expressions because they don't have the emotions that cause a person to have facial expressions in the first place. They stare at you and copy yours because they're not sure what they're supposed to do. That is a creepy thing to see in an adult.
4. They are terrible listeners. They listen only when they're sucking information out of what you're saying so they can use it against you later. When you're not giving up anything of value to them, they are bored and are terrible listeners.
5. They can be very quiet as a manipulation tactic, to make others think they mean no harm when in reality they are just scheming and gathering more information about their targets.
6. They always like to talk about being discreet because they like to hide behind the image of "God Fearing, charismatic and people friendly Adventists", but being discreet often means hiding their shady behaviour from church people and others they would seek to influence.
7. They’re really depressed at times. And they put all of that depression and sadness on you. But then when you call them out on it or try to share in those emotions, they’ll suddenly “snap” out of it and became happy and ecstatic (especially in a creepy way!) causing you to become even more depressed and sad.
